An interactive videogame installation made in collaboration with Luke Deane.1
Captivated by a 3D-scan of a neolithic stone ball, we began to think about the simple ludology of throwing a stone. Accompanied by intrusive notifications imagined as maxims from an ancient digital past, we built a game world to accompany what would become part-installation, part-musical instrument.
Sessions of 20-50 viewers entered a room containing controllers featuring soil, stain-glass, and a magnifying lens pointed towards an upturned mouse laser.
